RISE AND RECOVER Community Cookout
Join us for a festive community cookout where good food meets great company! Experience a delightful time in recovery; experience a Saturday Night Live meeting, sharing stories, and laughter. competitive games including games for children to enjoy and a children's playground, canoeing, and a nature walk. There is something for everyone to enjoy this memorable day! This event is perfect for making new friends and strengthening our collective recovery journey. Come for the food, stay for the fellowship!

Rise And Recover Canoeing
Grace on the lake for those that like to canoe or kayak you may bring your own or rentals are available at the ramp next to the pavilion.
Rise and Recover Hike
Pathway To Peace Recovery Hike! Enjoy the fresh air, beautiful scenery, and the company of friends in recovery. This activity offers a refreshing and fun-filled time, perfect for a peaceful afternoon of reflection and connection. All are welcome to join us for an incredible day!

Games, Games, Fun and Games
We are having many exciting games, including egg toss, three-legged race, the ever popular cornhole and a fishing tournament. Children's games will include ring toss and pin the tail on the donkey. All games will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place beautifully engraved trophy for this memorable event and bragging rights!! All children will receive a participation trophy.
Coming August 30th, 2026
Get ready and reserve the date for our second annual 6-mile trip down the beautiful Hocking River! Last year this was our first ever event and the turnout was incredible. Many, many hilarious moments and the day was filled with fun and laughter!! Many bonds and fantastic memories were made. It was truly a day we'll never forget. Bring your own canoe, kayak or rentals are available Don't forget a lunch and refreshments and we will have again a Saturday Night Live eating meeting on the same sandbar during the trip. More details to come!!
It would be very helpful to us if you would register for the Cook-out event as, so we will know how much food and beverages to have on hand. But it is not absolutely a must. We want to make this event as smooth as possible for everyone especially with so much interest in it from our out of area friends. We enjoyed your company on our previous events in our beautiful area, and We look forward to seeing you at this one!!! Please bring a chair!
